The Control of Asbestos at Work Regulations 2002.
In May 2004, Regulations 4 of ‘The Control of Asbestos at Work Regulations 2002’ came into force. This puts the liability on owners,
tenants and managing agents of non-domestic premises to have in place an asbestos register that identifies where all asbestos contained
materials (ACMs) are situated and how they are managed.
Shown on this page is a selection of products to help comply with this regulation.
The Control of Asbestos at
Work Regulations require self
adhesive vinyl tape to seal
packages and warn of asbestos
content.
ASBESTOS REGISTER
If you own, manage, occupy or control non-domestic property you
now have a legal duty to manage the risks, or to co-operate
with whoever manages the risks, from any asbestos that maybe
contained within a building or equipment enclosed in that premises.
